I’m a curious person by nature, which is a curse and a blessing. I can’t turn my mind off, but it’s intuitive to notice things. And then draw some conclusions.
For example, what’s intrigued me for a long time is the differences in culture between the hundreds of firms I’ve evaluated. For instance, I’ve never been able to make any connections between a firm’s distinctive culture and size, location, number of partners, age of the firm, etc.
