The Dangers of Internet Time

There is a phrase we’ve heard at conference after conference recently, uttered by every conceivable firm lamenting how their clients expect to be served “on internet time.” At the risk of being dismissed as a lone voice in the wilderness, may we offer this suggestion: “internet time” is bad business for you and for the clients you serve. Though it may be unpopular to do so at the outset, long term you will benefit from staying off this band wagon.
